Red peppers are loved all over the world and are used in the kitchen as a seasoning (dried) or fresh as part of many dishes.
Red pepper is a very good source of antioxidants having health-promoting effects on the human body, including vitamin C (on the average the pepper, weighing about 100 g contains at least 90 mg of vitamin C).
